WordPress 2.5 Released!!!

According to my WordPress dashboard, this post is posted 23 hours, almost a day, after the version 2.5 of WordPress released. Finally it is released after releasing 2 release candidates. Well, a lot of changes were made to the dashboard page and it has a much better look; I love it. But sadly I’m saying that the flickr photo gallery plugin that I’m using won’t work on this 2.5 version because needs the curl gallery to be installed; the version 2.3.3 didn’t ask for it. I need this plugin to be work because I can’t host my pictures myself and I need flickr; I have to save my hosting bandwidth. I hope I’ll find the way to make it work soon. AboutUs Sends Newsletter Now

Well, do you know AboutUs? Well, I would call it a website wiki because you can search for websites profiles. For example, check my website AboutUs profile at the site there. You can see title, description and so on there but not much. This site is useful when you want to know about a website but don’t want to visit the website because of bandwidth problem. Suddenly, on March 28, 2008, I receive a newsletter from the AboutUs website and I’ve never receive one before and I know that this is the first newsletter they’ve sent ever. The Bloggers’ Choice Awards 2008

I was visiting some blogs yesterday and I found a badge on the sidebar that says “This site was nominated for Best Foreign Language Blog.” Well, I was excited and then I visit the award website, the “Bloggers’ Choice Award” and have a stay for a while. I see a lot of categories where you can nominate you blog onto it, from the “Best Blog of All Time” to theBloggers' Choice Awards 2008 Best Blog About Stuff Badge “Worst Blog of All Time.” As you can see from the badge on the right, I’ve nominated my blog in the “Best Blog about Stuff” category and also nominated in the “Best Blog about Blogging” category. You can vote for my blog if you’d like to, just click the badge and you’ll be redirected to the voting page. Actually I’ve found this site since a month or two ago but I didn’t review the site because I’ve never be able to complete my registration there; I need to experience more to make a good review, right. This site, pictorati, is a picture search engine I think, and still beta until this moment. You can search picture trough keywords. The result might be really different from the result from Google, Yahoo!, or Live Search because the picture listed are the pictures that are submitted by the members of the site and the search results are better as long as the members give good information to the picture.
