AVG Free 9.0 Released

I was surprised when a notification bubble appeared from the icon tray saying that there is a problem in my AVG installation. When I opened the AVG UI, the notification of the AVG 9.0 release appeared. Actually this is not a new info for me for I had known this info since October 17. It’s just that I could only find the free version on the Indonesian AVG website. I think it’s really weird if the free version only available for Indonesian people. But now, I’m sure that this free version is real. I have downloaded the standalone installer and planned to install it tomorrow. Hope this new version is lighter in computer recourse consumption than the 8.5 version even I know that it’s nearly impossible. Continue reading…

Gundam 00 Movie Release Confirmed!!! 2010!!!

I walked through GundamWingZero’s blog and I found this interesting video, the Gundam 00 Movie trailer. The trailer shows the crew working on the film, so it looks like a release confirmation to me. What came into my mind is the Gundam Seed movie rumor, what about that movie? How come the 00 Gundam movie is confirmed before the Gundam Seed Movie hasn’t even been confirmed yet. I’m actually interested in watching Gundam Seed’s movie instead of this movie, but I will watch this movie also. I hope this movie will be available in cinemas in Indonesia. Continue reading…

My Karmic Koala Has Already Been Shipped on October 20?

According to the countdown, the Karmic Koala is launched today. But something’s weird happened when I visited the Ubuntu website to check my order. They say that my order has already been sent to the shipping company on October 20; the release is today. So I wonder if the copy sent to me is the final release or not knowing that the last 10 days of our wait, we can download the beta version to have it tested. Prevent StatPress Counts Your Visit on Your Own Website

I have just started using StatPress today. It’s such a great plugin for tracking my WordPress based website. I was depending on WordPress.com stat to track my website visitor, but I think I don’t have to anymore. One thing missing from this plugin, I think, is the ability to exclude admin to track. When people make a website where enable people to register on their website, they still want to track the logged-in user activity but him. This plugin can track logged-in users and exclude certain IP address but it can’t exclude admin to be tracked; maybe I missed it, but I couldn’t find it. Depapepe Performed the Green Tokyo Gundam Project Theme Song

I know that this info is outdated, but I’ve just found this info while searching for Depapepe PV. It was said that they performed the project’s theme song, Beautiful Wind, and a cover of the opening theme of Mobile Suit Gundam, Tobe! Gundam. I’m curious about their playing that time. I found out that there’s an album containing their play, Gundam Unplugged, which will be released on December 9, 2009. I don’t know why, but the first time I read the album title, I think the Gundam won’t move because the power line is unplugged; I know it’s silly. For now, I’m still looking for the recording of their play for this project in the internet because the album hasn’t been released yet. Continue reading…
