Well, to me, this film is not telling us about the Apocalypse or the end of the world. I somehow think that this film is a modernized version of the story of the Noah’s Ark. They had the same idea, save some animal life and some human life except I don’t know how many animals boarded the ark, there are more than one ark, and people have to pay to board the ark. Somehow I’m a bit disappointed, it’s not trying to visualize the imagination of the final day whatsoever, just showing the “restarting” of the world, just like the story of the Noah’s Ark.
