AVG Free 9.0 Released

I was surprised when a notification bubble appeared from the icon tray saying that there is a problem in my AVG installation. When I opened the AVG UI, the notification of the AVG 9.0 release appeared. Actually this is not a new info for me for I had known this info since October 17. It’s just that I could only find the free version on the Indonesian AVG website. I think it’s really weird if the free version only available for Indonesian people. But now, I’m sure that this free version is real. I have downloaded the standalone installer and planned to install it tomorrow. Hope this new version is lighter in computer recourse consumption than the 8.5 version even I know that it’s nearly impossible.
