Black Unicorn Gundam!!! Banshee???

Well, I don’t really follow the news about this series of gundam. All I know is this series is a novel series. Looking at the gunpla, it’s awesome, cool, but not the kind of gunpla I want to have. Maybe the problem is the color, plain white; I’m not a fan of this color, I like black or gray better. Then sometimes ago, I found out about a modified unicorn become a black unicorn with gold frame. I thought that the modification is inspired by the Astray Gundam Gold Frame Amatsu. But I was wrong -I think-, there is also the black version of Unicorn Gundam in the novel. Then I’m getting interested in this series.

The images above were taken from SRWHotnews. On the first and second picture you can see the word “Banshee” written in the largest font size. That means Banshee is the codename of the mobile suit. There is also “RX-0 Unicorn Gundam” which means this mobile suit is also the Unicorn Gundam; actually I’m not so sure about it. Then there is “Full Psycho Flame Prototype Mobile Suit” while on the white Unicorn written “Full Psycho Frame Prototype Mobile Suit” which is a bit different. I don’t know whether they had it misspelled or else; already happened to Akatsuki I think. The destroy mode of this Banshee is on the third picture. It’s weird that it shines red while the frame is gold. The different between the “white” one and this Banshee are just their colors and head. Will they make the gunpla of this? Take a look of the fourth picture. What do you think?

These are the pictures of Unicorn Gundam Color modification I’ve told you above, modified by Elliott Koon. He names his gunpla the “Dark Aeon”. I don’t know, does it means “dark times” or what. The thing is he had done a great job on his gunpla.

Now let’s talk about its name. I’ve heard that name before on X-Men, the green-yellow flying guy. Well, the word Banshee according to the dictionary is “a female spirit who gives a long sad cry as a warning to people that somebody in their family is going to die soon”. So maybe the creator gave the name Banshee because wherever it is, there is always death near it. A cool name I think, for a black mobile suit. But why gave it a female name?

   It was given a female name “Banshee” because it was Marsha Vist Carbine’s men hating machine and Marida Kruz’s past life as a hooker.

   Clarification bro, I think “Dark Aeon” came from Final Fantasy X: International, where there were dark versions of “aeons” or summons or GF’s or whatever they may be called, so…
