Kompas News Have Their Forum Today

Well, this day, as usual I visit the Chip Indonesia Forum and I saw the announcement about the release of the Official Kompas Forum. Well, this is a little bit outdated because the release was 2 days ago, on January 11th.

I went there to take a look of the new forum and of course I sign up immediately. Well, its main language is in Indonesian of course because Kompas is an Indonesian Newspaper. This forum is divided into categories inside the “rubrik” sub forum and those category looks the same as the categories we usually see on the paper. So far, there are some topics that, I think, were misplaced because of their topics, such as “Tragedi Lumpur LAPINDO”, which means the Lapindo mud tragedy, was placed under the “Global Warming” sub forum. Beside that, some of the people there didn’t focus on the topic discussed (out of topic). But I hope, this forum will get better soon, since Kompas is the best newspaper I’ve ever known in Indonesia.

What is awesome about this forum is this forum already have 190 members just before I signed up while it have just released 2 days ago.

This is a good site for me, I’m able to know what are people out there thinking about some news since so far I only able to discuss them with my friends at college. Besides, I’m able to know what the others are thinking about something on the paper better because mostly people would write their thought freely on such forum compares to to write it down and send it to the paper in the opinion section, maybe because it will cost you something to do so.
