Suddenly I remembered about the rumor about the facebook lite, a light weight version of facebook. Last time I tried to access the URL, it only can be accessed by invited member for testing purpose. Now everyone can access it. I myself fells good about this version. What I mean is that when you just need a feed of your friend activity, this is the right thing. A new video clip of the Beatles by the Rock Band is released trough the Facebook. At first, when I found the notification on my Facebook account, I went directly to the official site but I can’t found the new video. I would never think that the Facebook page will be updated faster than the official website itself. In my opinion, this “Revolution” video clip is great, but I love the “Ticket to Ride” video clip more.
I used to use the Akismet to prevent spam comments on my journal. So far I think the Akismet had worked just fine. By this time, it has already blocked 1920 spam comments according to the stat. Right now, I’m using the WP-FBConnect Plug In hoping only received real comments from real people and prevent people to send spam comments to me. Let’s just see if the blocked spam comment count changes or not in a month or two.
I think I have to use this kind of rule to prevent spam comments on my journal. I’m tired of it. Thanks to Facebook that has made the WP-FBConnect plug in, I don’t have to force my visitors to sign up on my journal. Besides, the comments from Facebook users are must be serious comments for they provide their real personal info on Facebook more than when they register on my journal. Continue reading…
