My Karmic Koala Has Already Been Shipped on October 20?

According to the countdown, the Karmic Koala is launched today. But something’s weird happened when I visited the Ubuntu website to check my order. They say that my order has already been sent to the shipping company on October 20; the release is today. So I wonder if the copy sent to me is the final release or not knowing that the last 10 days of our wait, we can download the beta version to have it tested. Karmic Koala Preorder is Open

I don’t know why but today it just happened that I tried to request a copy of the latest Ubuntu which is I do it because I have a slow internet connection; slow internet connection is really killing me. I’m still looking for a way to get Ubuntu in an easier and faster way, but for now, I’ll just make a request of the CD. The release date is still 10 days away but the preorder is already opened. I myself have already requested the CD they said that it will take six to ten week for the shipping process. Well, I think I’ll just have to wait that long before I can have my decision to migrate to Windows 7 or not.

Waiting for Karmic Koala

I was going to get a copy of Ubuntu Linux but I decided to wait because I found out that the next release of this operating system will be released next month. The version 9.10 is scheduled to be released on October 29th, 2009. Why I want to get a copy of this OS is that I want to try using Linux before the next version of Windows, Windows 7, is released. I hope I can use this Linux as good as how I use Windows. If not, maybe I will keep using Windows as my OS.
